Dad takes a quick break from chopping up salad to do a little dancing with the young surfer, Nicholas "DUDE!" Bridenstine....

The snow is coming down! Looks like today is the most NYC has gotten all winter, stranding Dad, Mom and Nicholas inside. But not for long! Nicholas has a date with Aunt Amy, Mom is gonna run downtown and do something as long as it doesn't involve a small child and once Dad ends his two hour conference call out of L.A., he's hitting Starbucks and getting out.

And look at how cute NJ is sleeping next to Mom this morning! What an angel (or devil, if that's your thing!)

Eating lunch with Mom in a Salvadorian restaurant, Daddy tries to lead Nicholas in a Latin-inspired dance, but unfortunately, both of them have a "muy grande cabaza" that seems to be getting in the way.

The Bridenstines finally got a chance to see their good friends, the Kwans, for a little spot of tea on Sunday, after more than two years. "Who waits two years to see their good friends?", you ask. Crazy busy New Yorkers like us who use every spare moment of their free time to make independent pilots, raise babies and keep the bills paid. Not that it's an excuse, just a reality. But better late then never, as it was great to see them and their two lovely kids, Vivian and Dash, real winners in the super cute department. Vivian found serious joy in playing Mommy to Nicholas, holding him tight and shoving the binky in his mouth, and Dash showed Michael his really cool "house of blocks", even though he was unable to answer Michael's question of whether it was environmentally sustainable. Finally, we were lucky enough to have the kids perform a beautiful dance for us, one in which Dash felt it was best to end with a full-body slam of his sister against the hard wood floor. The thrill of victory - the agony of da feet! Check it out.
