Look at those chunky Dincolo legs! We believe Nicholas James has his Great-Grandfather James Dincolo to thank for those moving tree trunks. What they lack in subtlety they make up for in power. I think I sense an offensive lineman. 36 Wham on set. BREAK!

Wednesday, March 12, 2008 --- Mommy's New Haircut and Nicholas Paul

I wasn't going to be one of those women that cut her hair short after becoming a mother; but once again something you find out only AFTER going through such a life change....Your hair can fall out in clumps after having a baby! Another lovely change with hormones! So I decided to let the locks go for now and in a split second my hairdresser had cut off my ponytail before I could change my mind! I think HE was tired of seeing me with my hair in a ponytail! Nicholas also had a big week last week with getting his first shots at the Dr's office! Daddy was there to go with us and has the video to post.

We also have another Nicholas that's our friend and he is 3 weeks younger than NJ. He weighed in at 9lbs 10oz! Lots of big boys lately!!!

There you have - Nicholas James Bridenstine and Nicholas Eugene Collura. Two boys who lay next to each other solely because some poor sap decided over 20 years ago to stick their two fathers in the same dorm room. NJ is just one month older than NE, but both enjoy breast feeding, sitting in their own poop and drooling. America - lock up your daughters. And if you look at the close-up pic below, you'll see that both truly are the red-eyed spawn of evil men.

Wednesday, March 5, 2008 --- Can you guess who it is?

Thank Godness for cellphones - with cameras! Instead of having to stop and shoot a picture when having a celebrity siting, you can just pretend like you're reading your email when you're really shooting a pic. So, yesterday on the 1 train, a favorite character actor of mine walked right by me and sat down to read. No one bugged him - including me! I just snapped a pic. Can you guess who it is?

EVIL BEN FROM "LOST!" I wanted to walk up to him and say, "Evil Ben, now that you've been shown to get off the island, and are a vet, can you help me with this problem cat...?" Of course, the conversaton only happened in my head.

The Bridenstines consist of five sentient beings of various intellect, value and potential, specifically:

Lori -- Wife and mother, taking a government-sanctioned maternity break from her personal training gig to birth, rear and guide her son as he begins his life and ends hers, a.k.a. “eating the metaphorical bon bon.”

Nicholas -- Newest addition to the family, born happy, healthy and eager to start blaming his parents for ruining his life. Predicted first word – Why?

Brummie -- Elder female feline, happy with warm belly rubs and cold bowls of milk. Tabby in coat, Tiger in heart.

Maya -- Deadly-but-delicious younger putty tat, with a soft face to melt the hardest heart and a proclivity toward urinating on Mom and Dad while they sleep.

Michael -- Husband and father, busy writing, producing and directing the next great American sitcom, if at least in his head. Loves to multi-task while on the phone, often by dusting while yapping.
